We all know the Google Panda update has been brutal, SEO teams have been laid off only because they could not keep up with the emerging trends in online marketing. Today only Content is the key, if you have good content, you can be a small website & still be in business. Google wants to keep its users happy and this update has definitely done that.

Today, if you go thru your search result feed, you will see only relevant content making it to the top 10 of search engine result pages. So how do you ensure that your voice is still herd and you don’t loose on your audience?

First, it is really important to get things in perspective and ask yourself, why are you doing this in the first place?

If you have an existing content team, ask them how they feel about the changing trend and what all can they bring to the table, in order to spice things up.

Ultimately, if you have fresh ideas and well written articles, you will be able to get away with almost anything. You just need to find the right team to help you get there.

Forget about article marketing websites or book marking websites, it doesn’t work anymore. You need to ensure that you have the right channel to market your voice. Don’t rely on traditional methods, try to change it up a little bit.

Create small documentaries and publish them on YouTube or publish content on the new web sensation, Quora. It doesn’t matter what you choose, what matters is how you voice your content & take it forward.

Technical writing vs Content writing

There are a lot of people who do not know the basic difference between content writing and technical writing.

Let me tell you very frankly there is not much of a difference. To be successful in any of these profiles you need to be good with written English, this is the basic. If you choose content writing as you’re filed, then its going to be really easy as all you would have to do is write in a particular topic. Do a little research over the internet and you are good to go, you can write whatever you want and express yourself.

Technical Writing: On the other hand, if I talk about Technical writing, you have to be tech savvy. You need to know the market; you need to know the product that you are writing about.

So in general technical writing is a part of content writing, it just that for technical writing you need to know about the product/service and having a technical background helps. It is not necessary to have a degree in the technical field, you can just be a technology enthusiast.

The best part about this filed is that, you can do it on your own terms. If you are freelancing from your home you have the liberty to work whenever and where ever you want. You are not bound to spend 7-8 hours in the office every day. You can work in the morning or late at night. So YOU are YOUR OWN BOSS.

I know a lot of you are really skeptical about these online writing jobs and at the beginning so was I. It is really difficult to trust online websites. That is the reason, I am not telling you to enroll on every website online. There are a few websites that are really good and have been in this industry for a long time. So is this website legit ?

Yes, completely. This is one of the best places to get online business and definitely the easiest. If you start on this website you will see that there are a lot of people registered on it. After enrolling I would recommend that you prepare a few samples of your work so that if anyone asks for it you can.

The more work you do the more reviews you will get. This might sound really easy and trust me when I say it is. There is just one thing, it needs a lot of time and dedication. You have to be sure to put in a lot of time, only then you will be able to see results.
